1. Show:
(x² + 3x - 2) + ( 3x² - 5x + 4) = 4x² - 2x + 2
2. Show:
(x² + 2x - 1) - (3x² - 5x + 3) = -2x² + 7x - 4
Represent the opposite of 3x² - 5x + 3 (change the signs) and proceed to add.
